In the middle my "water feature"
with tiny pale blue water flowers.....
Here I started white flowers and some buds
over the section with the recycled Sari Silk.
left bottom, a small patch of sky, --- remember,
this is woven from the side :-)
Here is the left (top) of the tapestry with the last bird finished and two branches from the tree on the right side of the tapestry (above) coming across.
I hope you enjoyed this update,
til next time!
and happy working at whatever you are doing!

beautiful colours and textures, definately worth enlarging.
Thank you Kaite!
It's coming together so nicely! I like the touch of the little water flowers and it's good to see the birds finished. They are irresitble to touch. :-)
Wishing you many more happy hours weaving and much good light.
With love

Hi Tiikarma, thank you for your nice comment and taking the time to catch up with my blogs! with Lots of Love Mum xox
This is looking great, Vera.
So glad you have at last got the new dog to settle down with. Hope Yeva can make a contribution to the tapestry (I did once weave a very small square with dog hair!)
best wishes...
Vera, I love seeing all the textures you work with. I am also very interested in how clearly you mark your warps. Your branches are lovely too, I love the sweeping colours.
Hi Misha, thanks for your comment, - Yeva contributes by keeping me company As much as I like my dogs and love experimenting with different yarns, I am not keen on spinning or weaving their fur :-)though I did spin a large shopping bag full of dog fur for a customer once... I prefer to pat the dog :-)
Hi Mary,
Thanks for Congrats, - it's very nice of you!! (I got a different message in my e-mail, but it doesn't matter. I use Artline70 marker ever since I started. It has a fine point which lasts for a while and I have not had any problems at all. It doesn't come off the warps.
Happy weaving to you both,
Vera
Vera, your tapestry and the painting of flowers you have in another post are so beautiful and serene. It's wonderful you have Yeva and that you're happy together. My best to Hazel.
Happy weaving!
Eva
Thank you Eva for your nice comment and your good wishes!
Happy weaving! Vera with Yeva
